Everything you enter is worked out in your browser and stays on your device. Your measurements are never sent to us, and they are never included in our analytics.

Health data never leaves your device
Your height, weight, age, target weight, waist measurement and results are calculated entirely in your browser. They are never transmitted to us, never stored on a server, and never included in analytics.
To make the site usable when you return, your entries are saved in your browser’s local storage, on your own device, readable only by this site, and never sent anywhere. They are discarded automatically after 90 days, and the "Start again" button on every calculator clears them immediately.
Analytics
We record which calculators are used and which links are followed, so we know which tools are worth improving. Those events carry only categorical information, which calculator, which unit system, which link. It is not technically possible for a measurement to be included: the event definitions accept fixed text values only, so any attempt to attach a number fails before the code will build.
This site sets no advertising cookies and loads no third-party tracking scripts.
Requests your browser makes
Opening a page here does not cause your browser to contact anyone else. The fonts are served from this domain rather than from a font provider, so no request carrying your address reaches one. There are no embedded videos, no social buttons, no comment system, no tag manager and no advertising network.
Links out to the NHS or to a source are ordinary links: nothing is sent to them unless you follow one, and then only what any browser sends when you visit a site.
What we do not do
- We do not have accounts, so we hold no profile about you.
- We do not sell or share data.
- We do not build advertising audiences.
- We do not use your measurements for anything at all beyond showing you your result.
